Hi! Thanks for your help. I believe you are right, even if it is the first time I try and spawn the fish. Maybe it's genetical - the speciem could have been bred very much and thereby not suited for egglaying. It is not uncommon with other animals dying when they are trying to give birth I believe. The reason why I believe so is also that she became yellow just one week before it happened. I think the male is missing her, in some kind of biological way.
