these are my 2 cents regarding MTSs, i have them in my endlers livebearers
tank but they never seem to survive in my apisto tanks. i think it's due to
the water being too soft and acidic so that they can't get the minerals for
shell formation. if your water is appropriately soft and acidic, they
shouldn't be able to survive there, IMO.
