That would be sodium thiosulfate (Na2S2O3*5H2O). It is prepared at 0.1 M in
a standard solution, used at 2 drops per gallon.

If he has a source or chemist, 0.1 M translates to 25 grams dissolved in
water to make 1 liter of solution.
