Thanks very much for the information and I'm sure many on this list will
benefit from this, most of all myself.  I also use a Nikon 105mm Macro with
my Nikon 801s but my eyesight has deteriorated.  I used to use 'manual'
focussing and I didn't have a problem, now I cannot and have to rely on
'auto.'
I'm a lazy photographer and just use the dedicated SB20 flash but the good
news is that I have a couple of 'slave' units which I will dig out and give
it a go.
I agree Vinny's information on photography is easy to follow.
