Stan buy yourself a ph monitor.You can get them in the US mail order for under $100.I paid $150 Canadian for mine,but the price is well worth it.I set the monitor in a convenient spot and move the probe from tank to tank.There are various brands,mine is Pinpoint.If you look at some hydroponics stores you might be able to get one that reads conductivity also.Monitors are fairly expensive,but when you need to know the exact ph they cant be beat.
