Don't forget: Plant Auction next Tuesday!
Just a last-minute reminder that the Greater Seattle Aquarium Society's
big plant auction is next Tuesday, February 14th, at the usual meeting
spot. Doors open at 7 PM, auction starts at 7:30 sharp. We will have our
usual large selection of plants, and a few surprises. If you are bringing
your own plants to sell, please be advised there is a 20-lot limit per
member (so we can finish before 10 PM).
Some of the plant species already confirmed (in holding tanks in our
basement!): Vallisneria spiralis, Echinodorus parviflorus "tropica",
Potomogeton gayi, Najas sp., Microsorum (Java fern, three varieties),
Lobelia cardinalis, and assorted floating plants. This is a small
fraction of what we will have, as most of the plants are ordered wholesale
through African Northwest and will arrive fresh the day of the auction.
Hope to see you there! For further questions, see the website at
