GSAS January 2003 Meeting Reminder - Tuesday, January 14, 2003

Members and Friends of the Greater Seattle Aquarium Society are in for a
real treat this month as we hold our regular meeting downstairs in the
actual Seattle Aquarium and tour their facility.  That?s right!  Come be our
guest as we receive a special ?Behind-the-Scenes? Tour hi-lighting the water
treatment system, food preparation kitchen, laboratories, and breeding and
grow-out tanks.  The tour will finish just in time for us to watch the
mammal feeding which is always very interesting.  Then, we have until
10:00pm to self-tour the exhibits (bring a camera and get some great
shots!).

Here?s the agenda

7:00 ? 7:30pm    Arrive early and gather DOWNSTAIRS by the main entrance
7:30 - 7:45pm*   Welcome, Announcements, Quick business
7:45 - 8:30pm    Behind-the-Scenes Tour
8:30 ~ 9:00pm    Watch the feeding of the mammals
9:00 ? 10:00pm   Self-Tour the exhibits

* Very Important Note ? Please plan to arrive EARLY, but no later than
7:45pm.  Once we begin the tour (at 7:45 sharp) there will no longer be
anyone at the entrance to let you in.

Also, if you or your children have not yet submitted your entries for last
month?s coloring contest, please bring them to the meeting.

The Seattle Aquarium is at pier 59. Parking is available for free on the
street or in the metered spots (after 6:00pm) in the lot across the street.
