GSAS March 2003 Meeting Reminder - Tuesday, March 11, 2003

The Greater Seattle Aquarium Society will be holding our regular, March
Meeting this coming Tuesday, March 11, 2003 at 7:30pm on the second floor of
the Seattle Aquarium, pier 59. Parking is available for free on the street
or in the metered spots (after 6:00pm) in the lot across the street.

Wait ?til you see what?s on the menu ? literally ? for this month?s meeting!
Our emphasis is on Live Food (for your fish, that is). Dave Sanford will be
leading the discussion as he and several other members share their knowledge
of raising live food. Here?s a little preview to whet your appetite?

  g.. Tri-ops (Sea-Monkeys)

Jim and Sarah Atchison, our friends at The Bug Farm, have donated several
items for this special GSAS Feeding Frenzy. They have produced a bright
orange pamphlet called ? you guessed it ? "Food Cultures for Dummies"; and
they?ve provided us with enough copies for everyone who attends to have one.
We?ll be having a mini-auction which will feature a culture of Vinegar Eels,
Microworms, and Grindal Worms provided by The Bug Farm as well as various
other cultures donated by our members. There will be several door prizes
including two $10 gift certificates that you can use to order your favorite
gourmet fish cuisine from their website ? www.livefoodcultures.com .

So, please make plans to attend, get involved, and watch our club grow! The
doors open for the general public at 7:00pm so come a little early and get
acquainted with others that share your love for all things aquatic! Check
