GSAS April 2003 Meeting Reminder - Tuesday, April 8, 2003

The Greater Seattle Aquarium Society will be holding our regular, April
Meeting this coming Tuesday, April 8, 2003 at 7:00pm on the second floor of
the Seattle Aquarium, pier 59. Parking is available for free on the street or
in the metered spots (after 6:00pm) in the lot across the street.

It's just two more days until the Big Auction. If you're new to GSAS, then
let me explain that once each year, in April, we hold a General Auction which
is typically our biggest event of the year. There will be new and used
equipment of all kinds, fish food, medicines, tanks, lights, live fish,
plants, (you get the idea... Everything Goes!) all available at auction.

Everyone is welcome to come and take advantage of this opportunity to BUY all
that "fish-stuff" that you really NEED at a great price!

If you're a CURRENT (PAID-UP) Member, then you have the priviledge to SELL
items and go home will a little extra cash. (Members keep 60% of the selling
price and GSAS gets 40% to help fund the next club-year.) So, for you
members, I trust your box of "other man's treasures" is dutifully set aside
and ready to go, but if not, there's still time to prepare. I have a few
things to get ready, myself.

Not a member yet? Membership lapsed a couple of months ago? No Problem!
Pack up your wares and come early (at 6:00) and see Bob Holmes to join or get
Current. Then, march right over to the check-in table - it couldn't be easier!

Here's the schedule - NOTICE THE SPECIAL, EARLY Meeting Time!

6:00 The doors open for you to bring items to be sold
6:30 Even if you're not bringing items, come early to Pre-View
7:00 SPECIAL, EARLY Start-time for the meeting - Auction to follow

If you have any questions, feel free to contact any Board Member - Direct
email addresses can be found on our website - www.gsas.org .

So, please make plans to attend, get involved, and watch our club grow! The
doors open for the general public at 6:00pm so come a little early and get
acquainted with others that share your love for all things aquatic! Check out
our website for directions and other interesting information at www.gsas.org .

See you There!
