GSAS June 2003 Meeting Reminder - Tuesday, June 10, 2003

The Greater Seattle Aquarium Society will be holding our regular, June 
Meeting this coming Tuesday, June 10, 2003 at 7:30pm on the second floor of 
the Seattle Aquarium, pier 59. Parking is available for free on the street 
or in the metered spots (after 6:00pm) in the lot across the street.

This month's featured speaker is our very own Erik Olson presenting a talk 
entitled "Photographing the Planted Aquarium", which combines photography, 
aquatic plants, aquarium decoration and a diary of his three-month crash 
course in entering an aquascaping contest last year. As many of you know, 
Erik is the President of the Aquatic Gardeners' Association and we are very 
fortunate to have him as a long-time member of GSAS as well.  Erik first 
gave this presentation at the AGA National Conference in Texas last Fall.  
This is one you definately won't want to miss!

Also on this month's agenda...

1)  Clay Hess will be giving a short presentation on GSAS Philanthropy 
Projects.
2)  June Olberding, our New Editor-in-chief will announce the winner of the 
Article Contest.
3)  Details and Sign-Up List Available for the GSAS Summer Picnic - August 
9th

So, please make plans to attend, get involved, and watch our club grow!  The 
doors open for the general public at 7:00pm so come a little early and get 
acquainted with others that share your love for all things aquatic!  Check
