GSAS June 2004 Meeting Reminder - Tuesday, June 8, 2004 - *NEW LOCATION*
The Greater Seattle Aquarium Society will be holding its regular, June Meeting
tomorrow, Tuesday, June 8, 2004 at 7:30pm at our NEW LOCATION at Weter Hall on
the beautiful campus of Seattle Pacific University (SPU).
Visit our website (www.gsas.org) for a link providing driving directions to
S.P.U. There you will find an illustrated campus layout with the buildings and
major parking facilities numbered. There is plenty of parking available in the
tiered parking lot (#45 on the map) and our meeting will be in Weter Hall (#28
on the map.) There will also be GSAS signs directing you from the parking lot
to Weter Hall.
This month's meeting will feature two very interesting video presentations.
First, a short 15 minute edited presentation of the "GSAS 2004 Home Show."
Thank you to Jeff Stewart for chairing this event, to Clay Hess and Steev Ward
for "judging" and to Erik Olson for putting the video together. Sneak-Peeks at
some of the pictures promise that we're in for a real treat.
Then, back by popular demand, is an encore presentation of Erik and Kathy
Olson's 1999 plant and fish collection trip up the Amazon River in Brazil.
Many of us have visited their home and have seen some of the fish that they
brought back with them - don't miss this chance to share vicariously in the
collection experience.
So, please make plans to attend, get involved, and watch our club grow! The
doors open for the general public at 7:00 so come a little early and get
acquainted with others that share your love for all things aquatic! Check out
our website for directions and other interesting information at www.gsas.org .
We'll see you tomorrow night!
