[GSAS-Announce] GSAS October 2004 Meeting Reminder - Tuesday, October 12, 2004

The Greater Seattle Aquarium Society will be holding its regular, October
Meeting Tomorrow, Tuesday, October 12, 2004 at 7:30pm at our NEW LOCATION at
Weter Hall on the beautiful campus of Seattle Pacific University (SPU).

Visit our website (www.gsas.org) for a link providing driving directions to
S.P.U. There you will find an illustrated campus layout with the buildings and
major parking facilities numbered. There is plenty of parking available in the
tiered parking lot (#45 on the map) and our meeting will be in Weter Hall (#28
on the map.) There will also be GSAS signs directing you from the parking lot
to Weter Hall.

This month's meeting will feature a special presentation by Jim Atchison of
"The Bug Farm" who will be speaking on Live Foods for your Aquarium. Jim is
the author of the booklet "Live Food for Dummies." Few hobbiests who've
already caught the aquarium "bug" can resist the temptation and thrill of
raising their own food to enhance the health and vitality of their fish. If,
by chance, you've not already begun to explore this option, don't miss you
chance to hear THE Expert in the Field. Jim's website sells cultures of many
different kinds of "bugs" and he'll have products with him for sale - as well
as the door-prize (Live Food-o-the-Month.)

Also, it's not too late to be included in the reservations at Siam on Lake
Union as we are planning a pre-meeting get-together at 5:00pm. (Don't worry if
you can't get there exactly at 5:00, we expect people will filter in between
5:00 and 5:30.) If you've not already done so, send an email to
gsas-member@thekrib.com or rick-rose@comcast.net and let me know how many to
include. I'll be making the reservations Tomorrow (Tuesday) morning.

So, please make plans to attend, get involved, and watch our club grow! The
doors open for the general public at 7:00 so come a little early and get
acquainted with others that share your love for all things aquatic! Check out
our website for directions and other interesting information at www.gsas.org .

We'll see you Tomorrow night!
Rick Rose, GSAS Promotions
