[GSAS-Announce] GSAS June 2006 Meeting Reminder - Tuesday, June 13 , 2006

The Greater Seattle Aquarium Society will be holding its regular, May
meeting on Tuesday, June 13, 2006, at 7:30pm at our regular meeting
location on the campus of Seattle Pacific University.

The June meeting will be our last meeting of the 2005-2006 club-year
(remember, we're off during the summer months of July and August.)  We have
several things planned for next month's meeting.

*       Board Member Elections!
*       Ice Cream Social
*       Swap-meet
*       Show-and-Tell

It seems like we have so little time to actually "talk fish" with each other
when we bring in a high-profile speaker.  So, this is your chance to get to
know your fellow club members better and ask those questions that require
good long answers without having to feel rushed.  The club is providing the
ice cream and toppings to start things off right

The one very important item of business that we'll be taking care of is the
election of two board positions - replacing out-going board members:  Paul
Winchester and Sandu Simion.  Paul and Sandu worked hard during their 3-year
tenures and did a lot to help shape that direction that GSAS has come today.
Be sure to thank them and also come help choose who will pick up the mantle.

If you have cool aquarium-related items that you'd like to sell or trade,
bring them to the meeting for the swap-meet.  

Also, bring that nifty-keen home-brewed item (not the liquid kind) that
you've just been itching to show off.  Maybe you'll inspire someone else to
get creative.

So, please make plans to attend, get involved, and watch our club grow!  The
doors open at 7:00pm so come a little early and get acquainted with others
that share your love for all things aquatic! Check out our website for
