Was the decision to go with alcohol? I'm for some beer, but following a BYOB 
procedure is also cool.

I'd vote for plenty of rootbeer, and innocuous lemon/lime type stuff, as well 
as a diet type (cola most likely).

Beer I prefer in the 'quality' range, wine in the 'cheap' range.

Anything else need to be done or picked up? Yes I'm volunteering...

Hi everyone,
        Victoria and I will pick up the bulk of the supplies for the picnic at 
Costco but we need help with two things:
        We will take Erik up on his offer to get the extras that aren't 
available at Costco (not sure what those are yet).
        What kind of beverages would people like (i.e. what are your 
preferences for type of beer, wine, pop, juice etc.).  Let me know if you have 
any particular likes or dislikes.
