Re: talks (fwd)

These are the talks lee does.
Pam is a new ACA speaker in Sacramento, these days they have $100 or so
roundtrip airfares if planned early enough.

Hi Kathy,

They have asked me to do two talks, one on the Vancouver Aquarium and
the other on my trip to Uganda the purpose of which was to do cichlid
conservation work.

Sure, that would be great!

Aside from the above mentioned talks, I can do a Peru collecting talk
(flood and dry seasons), or collecting on the Rio Negro. While I could
do a general SA cichlid talk, my real specialty is a talk on
Satanoperca. I also have a short (30 - 40 mins) talk on using
terrestrial plants as filters.

They are doing fine. They are in my 180 gal. along with the keyholes
that Wayne bought me and a large shoal of rummy-nose tetras.

That's why I like the wimpy SA cichlids - the ones that are almost
completely inept at catching other fishes or damaging their other
cichlid neighbours. Hey, maybe that could be another talk someday - SA
cichlids that really are peaceful!

Good luck!

Good luck on that too!

We're doing fine (Lisa says hello). You guys are welcome anytime!
Although...if you wait til spring...we may...have a house! Right now, if
you remember, we're in a one bedroom fishroom...I mean apartment.

Hope all is well, give our best to Erik.
