Before we get too carried away here.  Who is on the BOD that is not getting
e-mail besides Bob.  I know that Anne doesn't read it.  Some one needs to
make sure that the whole BOD takes part in any decision made via e-mail.

My 2 cents:

I think it's a nice gesture too, and would vote for it.
There's lots of ways we would normally be "expected" to pay for a speaker
which we've done in the past, such as hotel room for 2 nights, honorarium,
babysitters, booking an overpriced flight less than 21 days in advance, or
mileage on their car, and we haven't been asked for any of those
(actually, he didn't even ask for us to reim him the extra $100 -- that
was Kathy's idea).

It's true that extra $100 goes towards him getting to spend the rest of
the week in Vancouver.  But to a certain extent, I know that for this
particular trip, if he weren't going to Vancouver, he wouldn't be speaking
in Seattle.  I am sure of this.  So let's say "thanks".

By the way, we've got three huge boxes of primo auction items from
Marineland and Aquarium Systems that should easily bring in an excess of
$100 (including a system 6, several power filters, three baensch atlases.
JUST FOR THIS MEETING!  And also Marineland may be paying parts of his
plane far as well, depending on how many people show.
