Thanks for your votes, it seems like I have been gone forever since I
wrote that first email....on call.

Wayne definitely did NOT ask for the $100, in fact when I asked if we
needed to send him a check for 550 or 650 he said, 550 and why would we
want to pay the extra 100.  That is why I was presenting it to the club.
Last year we weren't given an option, we may not have even payed for the
vacouver leg...I think we did though....in halves with the California club
that had him speak as well...last year it was 50 though split with two
clubs.  

It is just a long flight, Wayne has had lots of stuff he is dealing with
back east and it is not convenient to come out here....it is just more as
a nice gesture/honorarium to say thanks, and we really appreciate your
time.  

Let me know if there are any more thoughts, I will wait a couple days
before emailing him......
