hi Erik, Ed and I will be there ... of course I'll bring some frog's bit and ricca. I heard that someone had those large apple sails they were giving away ... any chance I could get one or two? Will be willing to trade ricca or frogs bit for them ;-) Ed and I will help in any way we can. Hi GSAS-freaks, I just got finished unloading the shipment of plants for next Tuesday's auction, which came in the mail today. Got em all crammed into a 55 for the week (whew, barely fit!), so I can tell you some of the highlights: Cryptocornes! acorus, usteriana, lutea, and wendtii. Never heard of the first two before...supposedly rare. Have to see if they're in the ID books. Anubias nana, barteri, and "Congo", a new variety. Hmm... Swords galore, including some red melon swords, rubin swords, and a few large show specimens. Perhaps the most bizarre thing I've ever seen is POTTED java moss! Words do not do this justice. Anyway, that's about half of the goods. In addition, a few members will be bringing their own cuttings to sell (yes, that means YOU), so there'll no doubt be even more surprises Tuesday. Hope to see you there! When: Tuesday February 13th, 7:00 PM (viewing) 7:30 (bidding starts) Where: The Seattle Aquarium, Pier 59, upstairs PS: If you are willing to help run, bag, or book-keep for the evening, please reply to me personally. Thanks! - Erik -- Erik Olson erik at thekrib dot com
