Question about a Public Show

 Good Morning,

This is my first day back from the Greater Portland Aquarium Society show and 
auction.  I was amazed at the amount of GSAS members that attended the 
festivities in Portland.  But, it got me to thinking  (yep, that can be 
dangerous)........what if we had a combined show with the Portland Club?  I 
spent some time talking with numerous GPAS members (mostly Board members) and 
asked them how they felt about GSAS combining with GPAS to put on a show next 
year.  Everyone of the GPAS members I talked with was very much in favor of us 
joining them next year to put on a show.

So, the Question I have, and this is for all of you (aka, not just the Board 
members):

How many of you would be interested in joining the GPAS people to put on a 
public show?  
How many of you could travel to Portland to do a show like this?
How many of you would be interested in doing a public show if it were held up 
here?

I cannot promise that any or all of what we are discussing, here, will come to 
fruition.  However, I will do my best to work with you all to make it happen if 
possible.  

I had a great time at the Portland show and auction and was really impressed 
that they had some people from Sacramento come to the show as well.  But, what 
impressed me the most was we had ~12 members from GSAS attend the show and 
auction.  I would really enjoy any feedback those that attended might have as 
well.
