Newsletter (fwd)

We have a volunteer for newsletter editor.  For the relative new folk on
the list, Bob was on the board the whole time I was president, is a
professional cartographer for AT&T Wireless, and has lots of technical
know-how.  His wife Anne drew a series of great covers for the magazine, 
which I'd put up there as some of the best we've ever had (including the 
nifty line art from the 70's).

I am interested in editing the newsletter.  I would be willing to commit to
a year, and re-assess at that point.  The only drawback being that I would
not be able to commit to regular attendance at board and general meetings,
it is just too difficult at this point.
