It seems to me they would be like a Rainbow Study group, much like 
Portland has a Plant Study group, Marine Study Group, South 
American Dwarf, aka Apisto Study group.  It is nice they want to 
contribute.

They do also have their own agenda as the other groups do, I think it is  
a great way to get some more motivated people into GSAS. Darcy was very 
nice, motivated, polite, friendly and enthusiastic at the meeting.  

I think we definitely need different/new people on the board or interested 
in helping out, that way we don't burn out the existing people.  After all 
it is always fun to bid at the auctions!!!  :)
but I will say, our check book always benefits from volunteering!!!
