This does seem like a good time of year for an outdoor topic like koi. Presumably the fish are starting to wake up from winter torpor (just like the rest of us). If we could somehow tap into a koi-centric user base and whip up a little more demand, the koi vet would be great. Maybe - as a special occasion kind of thing - we could cross-promote with another local group, thus sharing expenses and boosting attendance. I note several local koi clubs listed at:
