Well, I actually refused to pay splits, because at the plant auction we said NO SPLITS, checks to be mailed by Bob. June Oberling, actually wanted hers and I said, no....this is the way we do it. I think handing them out on the night of the auction is fine too, we just have to have a uniform proceedure, since that was what we had done the last 3 auctions that is what I continued. There was also, one missed item, that the guy checked out and didn't pay for so someone will have to correct that. I guess maybe we should straighten this out at the board meeting. Or do a list and check it twice. I think people like their splits that night. Portland doesn't do it, because it creates more work on a busy night, I think that is why we didn't the last two. BUT in prior years we did. Just sounds like we need to communicate what to do a little better. So...discuss it at the board meeting??
