Re: Store Discounts

I don't think we really have a handle on which stores continue to give the 
discounts.  It's probably time to make a run and re-introduce the club and 
refresh the list.  The last time this was done completely was back right 
before I took over as editor, so that'd be 1995.  There have been a few 
additions and deletions since then, but never a full sweep.

As far as I know, the stores require the membership cards.  I still have
the remaining membership cards in a box from Joe(sorry we couldn't make
the meeting on Tuesday... in fact, we realized that with spending all our
available time schlepping around Randy Carey starting tonight and running
all the way through Wednesday morning, we had no time to take care of
various things, including getting the house ready for Randy's visit).

I should also note that the membership database has not been purged in 
over a year, mostly because of the sporadic nature of the publications.  
So there are a number of expired members (including our newsletter 
editor!) who will simply "disappear" when I finally throw that switch.
