Board meeting

Hi,

Hmm, something occured to me on the way home last night...

...when I was bringing up the option of no board meeting, I didn't mean 
the president RUN the club BY THEMSELVES.  (ie Emperor or Empress).  I 
also said but I think it got missed, but was....in lieu of the board 
meetings since we all have email, why not hold them on line.  Answer all 
the issues on line, and then only have board meetings a few times a year 
when we have major issue to discuss, and then hold them a little earlier. 

Just an idea, since I am stepping off the board (but still having problems 
letting go), it is not as much of an issue for me.  I just need a break.

So, my role next year as I see it is to get 2-3 speakers as we talked 
about.

Everything else is up to the board.

So for speakers on the other meetings, make sure their travel is
reimbursed, dinner beforehand if they want, and make sure to ask what AV
stuff they need.  (and let Erik know)...you see the club actually does not
own a projector, Erik always brings ours from home.  THe club just pays
replacement bulbs.
Maybe break it up and have someone champion each speaker, there were lots 
of cool names brought up yesterday.

Like I said hard to let go but I need a break.
