Rick, It's very easy.. the board meeting coordinator insures that there is a location for the next board meeting by the end of the current board meeting, and that everyone on the board (or general membership, should we choose to go that route again in the future) is aware of the location, date, and time. November and December get their dates changed usually, which requires a small bit of discussion beforehand. And because our board meeting often falls on the same night as Portland's general meetings, we have in the past organized one "road trip" board meeting where we theoretically held the meeting on I-5 en route to seeing an awesome speaker.
