Sorry I wasn't able to attend the meeting last night. The transmission on our car suddenly died and made it undrivable! I really apologize but intend to make the next meeting. At the board meeting, I offered up my videotaped program of Takashi Amano's Aquascaping Demonstration from last year's AGA Conference as a last-ditch idea, and as there were no other suggestions, the board jumped on it. [ERIKA - If you are still doing a newsletter this month and can get in the topic, this is it. Personally I don't understand why we had to wait 3 weeks to discuss in person last night instead of bringing it up for debate over e-mail as soon as we knew we had no topic...where we could have figured it out immediately and had input from everyone instead of just Bob, Rick Clay and myself... but I digress]. This program will require a video projector (plus speakers), and a VCR. In the past, Dave Sanford has been able to bring a video projector from work, but given that he's on strike or possibly in jail :), he's not reading e-mail at the moment! For the speakers, I have been using a set of amplified computer speakers from work, which you are welcome to borrow. There is also the tape, which I can deliver to you at work (or whatever). If a video projector cannot be found, a large TV would work as well. The reason for all this "you" stuff is that I'll be out of town during that week & cannot assist with any A/V equipment coordination. If there are any questions, feel free to e-mail or call! - Erik -- Erik Olson erik at thekrib dot com ------------------ To unsubscribe from this list, e-mail majordomo@thekrib.com with "unsubscribe gsas-board" in the body of the message.
