Hi
Clay,
Well, Erik will have to fill us in on anything that the by-laws might
have to say on the subject, but here's what was printed in the recent issues
of "Northwest Aquaria".
"Articles and illustrations may be reproduced in printed media,
provided proper credit is given to the author/artist and to Northwest
Aquaria. Two copies of the reprinted material (one for the
author/artist and one for the Society) should be sent to the Northwest
Aquaria "Editor in Exile" at: Northwest Aquaria, c/o Erika Barcott,
2384D Dunwoody Crossing, Atlanta, GA 30338"

Good Morning,
Can one of you please tell me what the Club's
position is on reprinting articles from our members? Do we typically
get permission from the authors or do we typically let the editor decide
what can be reprinted or is there some other plan we use? The email
attached has brought this up.
Clay
Greetings, I am editor of the "Calquarium", the
official club publication of the Calgary Aquarium Society, and I am looking
for a few quality articles to reprint in our magazine over the next 6
months. I was wondering if I might get permission to reprint the
following articles from the GSAS newsletter:
"Children's Aquaria" by Steve Ward
"Spawning the Algae Eating Shrimp" parts 1 & 2 by
Heather Candelaria
"Lake Tanganyika Gold" by Dave Sanford
Thank you,
G. A. Christian Bilou
Editor, "The Calquarium"
