Hi,
What a disappointment for Gilead. I am sure who ever found it will get to
him if they get the info.
Like you I have only been to 2 plant and 2 general auctions. I am impressed
with how well things go and how accurate things turn out. I only paid for
one small value item that got charged to my bid number but apparently went
to the correct bidder.
Do we know how many people were present? I brought about 3 times the ususal
goodies and there was just a few packaged food items left and the hot water
had run out. In future, if I am working the auction, I would ask some one
to
refill the water. Always important to keep people fed and watered.
First time I worked in moving goods during the auction. For comfort and
safety, I would allow bit more walking space between the computer table and
the chairs. I stepped on an occasional foot and almost beaned a few people
transporting and handing off large items like tanks etc. Every body was
very
nice about it. ;->
Rick, the young man who you had take over for you and help me was great. He
was very nice and quick of mind and feet. After we were done, he kind of
disappeared and I didn't get a chance to thank him. I hope at the next
meeting we will give verbal recognition to the young folks for the help
they
give.
