Good Morning, Well, Clay was the only one to respond to my suggestion that we postpone the meeting until next week and he said he thought it would work for him but he couldn't say for sure since he's not at home and can't check with his family. So, it seems that everyone else would prefer to hold the meeting, as scheduled, this week at Erik and Kathy's? If so, who will chair the meeting; and, does that person want a copy of the agenda emailed to them the night before or just handed out at the meeting? I may even sneak in a few munchies for you guys before I leave. (unless you decide to postpone it to clays a week later). On the Ad Konings note, I made an offer to the membership a few weeks ago about if anyone wanted to host an informal get together with Ad on Mon night, I have heard nothing back. Therefore, I will volunteer our place on Monday night. Also, I will make the usual, premeeting dinner announcement. I will ask Ad what kind of fare he prefers, in order to decide between Hales Ale's and Ivar's. If it was Paul Loiselle I know he would want to go to Ivars...he is already talking about it!!!! I still haven't confirmed with Ad if he is coming up Sunday or Monday or Tues am. I know Portland is a huge draw for him. I will check with Sam Beavin and see if we might be able to get into African's Northwest. I think Ad would like that.....but if he brings his wife, which he is considering, then we might not be touring as many fish stores. I took Mon/Tues as vacation time. Erik will bring him to the airport on Wens. So I think we are pretty set for his talk/visit. Oh yeah, I was signed up to do fish of the month (ie....bring them back from the Fish Exchange, or have them bring them up)....I am guessing for a good colony of shell dwellers, or a back of julies it will be 5 or 6 a fish (on the cheap side) and so you want a colony of at least 5-6. I am guessing in the $50-60 dollor range. The board needs to let me know what it wants on that end. Also, any specific rec's for type of fish are appreciated. If you have a wish list you can look at the Cichlid Exchange's website. It may change by the time the meeting comes around but gives us an idea. Oops, late for work, see you guys later.
