A quick note to let you all know that I have received some feedback from the 
meeting as well.  Thought I would share this with you:  
"The meeting didn't get over until after 10:00.........which was fine. We were
going to leave right after the anouncment of the coloring contest....but (my 
husband)decided he wanted to stay for the auction, right when he saw it. He 
said"
This was more exciting than I thought it would be, I wouldn't mind comming 
again." So for this to come from a "Non fish person" is good. We all enjoyed 
ourselves!"

Sounds like the meeting was a fantastic success!!  Great job, ALL OF YOU!  
Sorry I could not stay for the whole show.

Erik,

Excellent Presentation last night!  I'm inspired to do better "record 
keeping" using my camera.  Also, can the free software you mentioned (the 
gimp?) be downloaded?  I'd like to learn how to "stitch".  What would you 
think about reiterating the various contest opportunities with contact info 
and deadlines in a follow-up email to the members?

I didn't get the chance to "chit-chat" with very many people last night, but 
one of the vistors that I did talk to was very entheusiastic about your talk 
and said he was ready to join.

Your plant donations were a big success!  Bob can put a dollar figure on it, 
but I thought capping off the evening with a respectable plant-auction after 
just having seen Erik's Plant Photography presentation was perfect.
