Thank you so much for volunteering to help as the GSAS Shows Committee =
Chairperson. The Board unanimously approved you as chairperson at the =
last board meeting. You obviously put a lot of though into your =
proposal and the Board really appreciates your effort and enthusiasm. =20

Regarding some of the questions that you asked (about prizes, =
categories, entry fees, and submission limits) the board discussed this =
for quite a while and, in light of the fact that one of the other =
proposals already being planned for this year is "on the competitive =
side," ultimately decided to promote home show(s) as a "for fun," =
non-competitive event. So, we are suggesting no prizes, categories, =
entry fees, or limits - just fun, friendship, and encouragement.

If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to contact myself =
or one of the other board members. Also, if your schedule ever allows =
you to attend one of the board meetings (the second Thursday evening =
following the second Tuesday of each month - sounds complicated, but it =
works) that would be great.
