They've been around probably about 9 or 10 years in one incarnation or
another, and seem to come and go.  Initially they were associated with a 
store in Kirkland under the name "eastside aquarium society".  Somewhere 
along the line, they went independent from the store, changed the name, 
and hosted several marine conferences.

I have never been able to learn anything about them in the last 5 years,
nobody from PSAS has really attempted to contact GSAS (or vice versa).
