Hey guys,  I've NEVER been committee chair for the general auction, and 
have no interest in doing so now! :)  Paul, you can definitely have it!  

The only reason my name's on the *plant* auction is because it's pretty
easy and routine these days, i.e. I ask Sam for help on getting the actual
plants, and the rest of you for bags, change, laptops and bodies.

I'm still planning on having the computer stuff available.  I bought some 
real barcode scanners on EBay that should make the process a little nicer.
