Yes meeting is 13th. You might want to check out my math but I think it is cheaper to get 2 L bottles. I don't know what the price of Coke per can is at Costco but comparing it at other stores bigger units are cheaper. For comparsion, consider that each person will drink about 500 cc which is a about 1 1/2 cans. At 1$ a bottle that is about $8/8 bottles for 30 people. 24 case of cans is usually $5.99. With popcorn, people may drink more than one can so probably need 2 cases which would be $12. From working with large groups of people for long time, it has been my experience that if you "over buy" in 2 L bottles it is left for future use but extra cans tend to become "ones for the road" I you can chill the cans well, than drink cups aren't needed. For cost containment we could also go generic brand. If you decide to do that, let me know and I will bring my own. I hate generic cola ;-) Since GSAS is facing potential budget crisis, I say lets go for what ever is best buy.
