Hi Erik. I have a few plant auction items - loose ends I'd like to tidy up.
- I'll get you the amount we spent at ANW for plants last year as soon as I 
get it. I haven't forgotten. It was           around $300 - 350 I'm pretty 
sure.
- I'm not sure about our supply of bags, rubberbands etc. so I'm going to 
go down to the aquarium and take inventory within a few days.
- Are we all set for bidding cards? Sounds like you have bar code stickers 
under control.
- Looks like we have one volunteer laptop so far (Sam), and two computer 
operators (Sam and Don). Within a couple of days I'll put out a general 
"Call to Arms" for volunteers for the following positions:
      Computer operators
      Someone to handle late check-ins
      Manual Tallier
      Auctioneers
      Baggers
      Someone to bring pizza
      More laptops (with 802.11 wireless)
-Any suggestions for publicity? Last year we advertised in the Seattle and 
Tacoma papers which was very expensive and ineffective, so this year we're 
going to run an ad in the Little Nickel only. Have we put up posters or 
flyers in local stores before? Have we notified Vancouver in the past? 
(Portland already knows)
