Wow! I'm glad I read that about the Fish Store! I
was going to ask them for a discount tomorrow.
I have three thank you cards. I can bring them a
card and a donation letter, as well as Indoor Reef in Tacoma, and Innovative
Aquarium Products in Bremerton.

We don't keep addresses for those who donate to the auction,
just the ones who offer 5-20% off purchases at their stores. This is
an important distinction because some places, like the fish store,
absolutely despise the discount program for political reasons that would
take pages to explain, and got very angry a few years ago when a former
newsletter editor blurred the line between "donors" and
"sponsors".
Definitely let me know if any of those businesses wanted to
join this program, so we can add them to the list!
Meanwhile, what
would really help for the website is if I just had a list of all the
donors, i.e. a single list, not all the fragments from different
people. Then I can just put that directly on the website as
the "thanks to the following donors:" paragraph for the
auction.
