RE: [GSAS-board] Kate's Membership

I don’t think the $15 membership fee is the significant problem.  It sounds like Kate is finding that the hobby can get pretty expensive – we sure have.  Our electricity bill/usage has increased steadily as we’ve added just one more 100 watt heater and just one more 40 watt light.  I think that, given the fact that Kate can continue to participate on the gsas-member email list, and she can continue to come to the meetings – all without being a “current” member, it doesn’t warrant a special extension of her membership.  She wouldn’t be the first one to “lapse” for a while.

Subject: [GSAS-board] Kate's Membership

Dear Board Members:

Is there any possibility that we can extend Kate’s membership another year, since she contributed the fish painting, and is working on that project with us?

Susan
