I have an idea for a Craig’s List ad. “Donate your unwanted aquarium items to the Greater Seattle Aquarium Club. Possible fish adoption/relocation. Please, no cracked aquariums. Check out our website at gsas.org.”
Then we can have an anonymous email that people can reply to. Now we just need a place to store the tanks and stuff, and people willing to go get it. I can pick up a lot in my SUV, but don’t have a lot of space for storage. Shall we give it a whirl?
