Hi Susan,
Yes, the email addresses are on there (as long as everyone is okay with it.)
Thanks, Rick

Okay, I understand. Is there room for an email address? If not, I can pencil it in when I hand out the card.

Hi Susan,
Let me address your questions in reverse order…
1) Yes, the GSAS website address will be on the card.
2) The “Job Title” was only intended to contain the Board Office, or the words “Board Member” for those who aren’t officers – Your Board office is Treasurer. But, “Membership Coordinator” is a Committee Chair that you fill. The obvious exception to this is for the Newsletter Editor who is not currently on the board. This decision was made back when June Olberding was the editor. At the time, the board voted to provide business cards for the editor for “obvious reasons.”
3) There are several reasons why I would rather not include the home address – available space is one. Another is the fact that, if I put your address on your card, I would have to really change my database design to avoid putting everyone’s home address on their respective cards. Plus, as stated above, when the business card idea was hatched, we didn’t envision using them as a function of membership (where to mail checks, etc.) The “New Member Application,” on the other hand, does have your address on it. The board member business cards were originally intended to be used with the professional contacts (fish stores, sponsors, etc.)
So, a question for the board… Is it okay for me to continue as planned?
Thanks, Rick

Hi Rick:
Alright! Just in time! Can you put my home address on the card also, so people know where to mail a membership check to, and have "Treasurer/Membership-Coordinator" by my name? Will you have the GSAS website address too?
Susan
