Bob,

Diane is deciding if they will make the auction or not. I will send
Diane another note.

See ya at the auction.

Subject: [GSAS-board] Auction volunteers

Time to put out the call for auction volunteers! Since Rick is out of
town,
thought I'd post something on GSAS member. Something like this:

Auction volunteers needed! A week from Tuesday is Auction Day, and we're

looking for volunteers for the following jobs:

Auctioneers. We have one so far, Clay. (Thanks Clay!) we need at
least two more.

Setup. People to come early and help move furniture around,
arrange
auction items, run early check-in, help offload big items at ramp.

Computer operators to process sales, handle check in and checkout.

      Manual backup tallier

Runners to handle and keep track of sold items, assist with
checkout.

Grunters to help people load heavier items into their vehicles.

And (very important) LAPTOPS! Equipped with wireless LAN and
Windows
2000 or newer.

Other misc. stuff:
We'll also need to make sure that we have sharpies, stickers, pens,
tablets
available in the event that Rick can't make it. He has the auction
supplies. Clay, you're getting the stuff from Diane, Right? I talked to
Ann at SPU and asked for 30 extra chairs. I emailed Sandy earlier today
regarding the craigslist ad. Paul and his laptop won't be at the
auction.

Please let me know if you think of anything else.

Bob
