Bob,
I am a
member of the Board of Directors of NANFA. NANFA is a national
organization with members in every state and several foreign countries.
Within the membership is a spectrum of fish keepers from beginning hobbyists to
PhD's. They form a network of knowledge and sources of livestock.
We are
trying to acquaint aquarium hobbyists with native fish species and
issues. Many species native to North America are as interesting and
attractive as tropicals. As part of our outreach we are considering providing
native fish to local Aquarium Societies that they could auction for their own
profit. A representative from our organization could give a presentation
and distribute literature during the event.
Let me
know if this is something you would be interested in. Call me on (206)
931-3556 if you would like to talk.
