I’d like to see some discussion on this (see below, copied from my earlier email.) If we’re going to do something, we need to be contacting Sierra Fish and Pets today or tomorrow.
Meredith had a great idea. When she went to the picnic site to scope it out, she stopped by Sierra fish and Pets and got her GSAS discount on her 1st cichlids. She checked and they will be open on August 20th. Her idea was to get a coupon or something so people will stop and say hello to them. The manager was there when she visited and clearly remembered what they donated to the auction.
I think this would be a good way for us (GSAS) to "give back" to one of our sponsors.
What kind of coupon did you have in mind, Meredith? Would it be like a "$1.00-off" funded by the club and good only that day, or what?
