RE: [GSAS-board] Mopani Wood?

I don't really know for sure. What IS mopani wood? Maybe that does refer to the pices with the slightly lighter shades.

I know there was one large bag and a smaller box or bag, but I didn't unload any of them. But it sounds like we had both types.

Hi Susan,

I didn't get a good look at it, but I did hear Erik say as he was auctioning
off one piece that "this is one of those 'other kinds of wood'." I think he
can clear it up for us when he has a moment.

We were billed $35 for 20 pounds of Mopani Wood from Africa NW. I don't
believe there was any though! We ordered 50lbs of African wood, and I did
check the wood table as I bought some, and I didn't see any Mopani. It did
look like there was about 50lbs of the African stuff. We only had one bag of
wood. If anyone else saw or did not see Mopani, please email to confirm
before I contact Africa NW.
