Hi Diane,
Thanks so much for doing this each year –
it’s a big relief to know that the manufacturer donations are taken care
of and coming in like they are. I’ll forward your email to the
board list so that Paul can see it and decide what he wants to do about the
boxes (he is in charge of the auction again this year.)
I will try to make thank-you cards –
just let me know how many and for whom.
My count shows that we have 119 members at
present.
Rick

Hi Rick,
We
are getting quite a few donations from manufacturers, including some in large
boxes! We will not be able to attend the auction because of schedule conflicts
(I have a research proposal due April 11 and Rich has a hearing that week), but
we would like to deliver the items to someone's house the weekend before the
auction (Apr 8-9) or have someone pick them up. I will make a list of all the
donors for the webpage (including a version in large print that can be
displayed at the auction). We can send thank-you letters if you don't have
anyone assigned to do this (the cards a couple of years ago with the kids'
drawings were great).
A
couple of the manufacturers have asked for some information about the club, in
particular the number of members. How many members does the GSAS have now?

Rick,
Would you like Rich and I to solicit national manufacturers for the April GSAS
auction? It's about time to update the manufacturer list and make the queries,
so I thought I'd ask.
