RE: [GSAS-board] Question: Auction Start time

I was thinking if we said it started at 7 that it would really get going after that anyways, plus we need some time for announcements and covering the auction rules. By then it would likely be close to 7:30.

Paul and the rest of the board,

At the last board meeting, we discussed the start time of the auction.
Steev found a reference to a previous auction starting at our regular time
(which I now think must have been referring to a Plant Auction) but at the
time we weren't sure and told Steev to go ahead and publish that the General
Auction would start at 7:30.

In looking at my old emails to send out the meeting reminder, I have found
that we DID typically begin the GENERAL Auction early - at 7:00pm.

Do you want me to risk causing confusion by sending out a "correction" to
the start-time, or do we want to stick with 7:30 as it was put in the
newsletter? I'm sure the we moved the time up in the past to help avoid
going too late.

I am willing to do either, but want some input.

Please respond ASAP and Thanks,

Rick
