Paul, Clay, Anyone
Else?
Diane said that she
has, in the past, taken the auction donations to Clay’s house (so I’m assuming
that the Elliots live up North?)
Diane would like to
know where she should take the items or if someone will be picking them
up.
Any volunteers either
way?
Rick

Hi
Rick,
Any word from the GSAS board on
how I can get the donated auction goods to someone's house or picked up from my
house this weekend? My weekend (home) e-mail is puffin33@earthlink.net. Work
phone is 206-526-6591, home phone is 425-823-0704. I have a meeting Saturday but
will be available Sunday.

Hi
Diane,
Thanks so much for
doing this each year – it’s a big relief to know that the manufacturer donations
are taken care of and coming in like they are. I’ll forward your email to
the board list so that Paul can see it and decide what he wants to do about the
boxes (he is in charge of the auction again this year.)
I will try to make
thank-you cards – just let me know how many and for whom.
My count shows that we
have 119 members at present.
Rick

Hi Rick,
We are getting quite a few
donations from manufacturers, including some in large boxes! We will not be able
to attend the auction because of schedule conflicts (I have a research proposal
due April 11 and Rich has a hearing that week), but we would like to deliver the
items to someone's house the weekend before the auction (Apr 8-9) or have
someone pick them up. I will make a list of all the donors for the webpage
(including a version in large print that can be displayed at the auction). We
can send thank-you letters if you don't have anyone assigned to do this (the
cards a couple of years ago with the kids' drawings were great).
A couple of the
manufacturers have asked for some information about the club, in particular the
number of members. How many members does the GSAS have now?

GSAS auction
Rick,
Would you like Rich and I
to solicit national manufacturers for the April GSAS auction? It's about time to
update the manufacturer list and make the queries, so I thought I'd
ask.
