Sounds great Rick. Now you might want to call Ikon about servicing a non-profit machine.

Dave called a few minutes ago. He thinks that the copier will go up the stairs with no problem since can be separated into two pieces. Now, we’re hoping that Monday will be dry. He’s happy.

I have a call in to Dave and he is going to call me back.
The Ham Radio Club was hesitant because of the potential cost of a maintenance agreement – one of their members does his best to keep their current SHARP copier running (although not very well, in my opinion) but he’s FREE and he said he couldn’t help with a CANNON copier. Since I needed an answer right away, they said “no.”
If I can get the copier up to my 2nd floor, home office, I have room for it – that’s my current plan. I may be picking it up from Dave today IF he thinks it will fit up the stairs (sometimes the collating units are detachable, which would help.)
My third option is the church where my family attends. I’m sure they could really use it. I could print the club newsletters on Sunday when I’m there if the board is okay with that option.

What is the status of the copier? Is the Ham Radio club game for do a copier partnership?

Ah Yes – one of my assigned tasks was to give Eric an updated schedule for the website. I’m working on it now.

I was just informed by an interested potential new member that the meeting date this Tuesday is wrong. It should be the 10th, not the 11th as posted. Are we going to have an announcement of the topic soon?
