I closed the Money Market Account today, as we apparently were getting charged $10 every month that it was under $1000. They mailed the notice to Bob. Also, that account was set up incorrectly at the Queen Branch.
Another bank problem is that Rick is signed up only as a “person of interest” on the checking account. Allison, who is no longer with WAMU, did not do it right, and the guy at the bank was unable to located where all the paperwork was sent. He told me that the Rick Rose he had was in Moses Lake. I asked him if our paperwork was ever being sent there, and he said no, but then they managed to find Bob’s new address to send him the notice about the Money Market overdraft instead of me, the treasurer. So, I am uneasy when he tells me that Rick Rose is in Moses Lake.
I think the simplest thing to do is to close down the checking account and then reopen a new one. We will get new checks with my current address & phone number in the process. We should find a regular normal bank branch around Meredith’s.
PLEASE CASH ALL YOUR GSAS CHECKS ASAP!
