Hello Paul: It sure is a Winter Wonderland! Snowing again and black ice and snow in all the shady areas. I feel like I am back in Ellensburg again during the winter. I would say that maybe we should post-pone the meeting until the following week, perhaps we could even meet earlier, like a Tuesday. I think we safely do a $300-$400 order, no bog wood though. Hopefully the snow or storms won't be around during the time of the auction. It would be nice to get some more of the unusual varieties of plants, such as the clover leaf, the small umbrella plant. The Crinium bulbs were a big hit last year, even though we didn't make much on them. I have a personal request for Braziliensis lileopsis. I think we are missing some variety since June O. is gone. Someone is already posting the auction, I'm not sure who, but the more people to advertise, the better. I talked to Kate Breimeyer last night and she said there is a woman in Centralia who is looking to relocate her Koi. One of them is from Isreal. The weather is expected to clear by Thursday night but we should have a "the meeting will be held &HERE if the roads are worse &THAN" plan where &HERE is a place and &THAN is how much risk the board is willing to take. If Megan is still sick (flu) on Wednesday I will post that also. In the unlikely event that we are not able to meet on Thursday, Eric has asked for a budget for the plant auction (2/13/07). I will personally bring a half dozen bags of pellia and what ever else I can pull from my jungle tank. Since livestock is included I will also bring several bags of angels and goodiead. I have an announcement and link on the bottom of my plantedtank.net signature. Should I also take CraigsList? (The year Susan? posted there was quite a crowd!) -Paul *************************** Alumni 2005 University Of Washington *************************** _______________________________________________ GSAS-board mailing list GSAS-board@thekrib.com http://lists.thekrib.com/mailman/listinfo/gsas-board _______________________________________________ GSAS-board mailing list GSAS-board@thekrib.com http://lists.thekrib.com/mailman/listinfo/gsas-board
